We achieve low weight by choosing the highest quality materials for both the surface and the core. The material must be light, but at the same time strong and durable. Weight reduction is also achieved by lightening the inner foam. But this must not be at the expense of comfort and the ability to insulate well. The choice of material and lightness has a significant effect on the size of the packaged product.
All our products have a double layer of insulation against air leakage, which is laminated to the outer fabric. This ensures high protection and a long product life. Each mat is tested 24 hours after production, thereby eliminating the risk of delivering a defective product from production.
THERMAL RESISTANCE
A quantity that is increasingly indicated for mats . Thermal resistance - R is a physical quantity that expresses the thermal insulation properties of the material. It is directly dependent on the material thickness and λ. When achieving the highest possible R value, the goal is to make the material thickness as large as possible and the λ value of the individual materials as low as possible. The thermal resistance R expresses the resistance of 1 m2 of material against the transmission of thermal energy at a temperature difference of 1 K. The coefficient of thermal conductivity λ expresses the property material to conduct heat. It is the value of energy in W that passes through a material of thickness 1 m at a temperature difference of 1 K between the surfaces of the material. NON-SLIP "YATE Micro Brushed" SURFACE
In nature, it often happens that there is no place to sleep ideally straight, so even a comfortable mat may not fully fulfill its purpose when a person with a sleeping bag slips off it. For this reason, we have developed a special surface with a "Micro Brushed" treatment, which increases friction and thus prevents the sleeping bag from sliding. We use this surface for most models.
