NESTO is feather blanket for effective insulation of the hammock from the outside. Hammocks are an increasingly popular solution for sleeping in nature. Even in this case, however, you need to think about insulation from below, because a compressed sleeping bag at the bottom of the deckchair only provides minimal insulation. The solution is offered either by a hammock mat or by our new NESTO underquilt. It is essentially a feather blanket with elastic cords hung under the hammock so that it fits snugly against the horse. The feathers in the underquilt remain fluffy and thus retain excellent insulating properties, i.e. warmth.
The blanket has both lengthwise and crosswise pulls at the ends to best fit the hammock. A feather collar is additionally added at each end for this purpose. At the top, you can fasten the underquilt over the hammock with S carabiners, or you can attach it to the sides of the hammock with Crocodile clips. Thanks to this, you can use the hammock even with a mosquito net. So you only need a weaker sleeping bag or a blanket over yourself for the hammock, it depends on the ambient temperature. NESTO is rectangular in shape and therefore you can also use it as a blanket to cover up when sleeping in a car or in a cabin.
