Code: PD-SW-01Product detailed description
Stomax is a prebiotic with a high ability to absorb water, which is of great importance in diarrheal diseases. It contributes to restoring the balance and healthy bacterial flora in the intestines.
Effects of Stomax:
- effective for various digestive problems
- strengthens the protective effect of the mucus of the stomach and intestinal mucosa and thus increases its protection
- contributes to the restoration of the intestinal microflora and restores its balance
- has a high ability to retain water (important for the normalization of loose stools)
- contains prebiotic fiber for better nutrition and absorption of minerals
Substances contained in Stomax preparation:
Fiber from potato cell walls (PV70), inactivated yeast, lecithin, inulin/ oligofructose, vitamins and a mixture of amino acids
Fiber from the cell walls of potatoes PV70
Fiber from the cell walls of potatoes PV70 is one of the main components of Stomax™. These are fibers from the cell walls of potatoes. This fiber has a high ability to retain water (important for diarrhea) and has a high proportion of cellulose, which has a beneficial effect on the metabolism of sugars and fats. Fiber is also important for supporting the intestinal microflora, increasing the volume of intestinal contents and helping them move through the intestine more gently and easily, diluting bile and toxins that could damage the colon.
Inactivated yeast
Inactivated yeast serves as a nutrient for beneficial microorganisms in the large intestine. They are classified as a prebiotic, which means that they feed beneficial bacteria while stimulating intestinal function and improving intestinal peristalsis (muscle activity for the proper movement of food through the intestines).
Inulin / oligofructose
Inulin / oligofructose is a source of energy for symbiotic intestinal bacteria and behaves like soluble fiber in the intestine. Its significance lies in its probiotic effect and in the support of intestinal peristalsis. It also contributes to increasing the intake of calcium, phosphorus, iron, etc. from the daily feed intake. The source of inulin in Stomax™ is the chicory plant.
Lecithin
Lecithin is a natural fatty acid that is contained in body cells. Lecithin together with fiber from potatoes forms a gel in contact with water, which effectively protects the stomach and intestinal mucosa. Lecithin is also of great importance for the function of digestive enzymes and the pancreas, helps the mixing of fats and water, supports cholesterol metabolism and is of great importance in cell membranes.
B-vitamins
Stomax™ is enriched with B-vitamins, which are necessary in case of digestive problems, when their absorption is impaired and they leave the body during high fluid loss, e.g. diarrhea. B vitamins act against stress, increase blood formation and support metabolism.
