Product Questions
1. HOW DOES PRODEN PLAQUEOFF® WORK?
Unlike other plaque control methods, ProDen PlaqueOff® works systemically, i.e. through the bloodstream. It is thought to affect plaque's ability to "stick" and soften hard tartar residue. Improvements should be seen from 3 to 8 weeks after starting use.
2. WHAT DOES PRODEN PLAQUEOFF® POWDER CONTAIN?
ProDen PlaqueOff® Powder for dogs and cats is made exclusively from Ascophyllum nodosum seaweed harvested in the North Atlantic.
3. WHO CAN USE PRODEN PLAQUEOFF® AND HOW IS IT USED?
It can be used in all cats and dogs that do not have thyroid problems. We recommend starting use when the animal has permanent teeth. Dosage depends on the weight of the animal.
4. HOW LONG CAN I GIVE PRODEN PLAQUEOFF® TO A DOG/CAT?
The preparation is intended for regular administration according to the recommended dosage. The positive effects are manifested during the use of the product, disappear after its discontinuation. This dietary supplement is safe and can be administered long-term.
5. CAN I STOP BRUSHING MY PET'S TEETH?
ProDen PlaqueOff® Powder is not a substitute for brushing. It serves as an accessory to a toothbrush. This combination helps remove plaque and tartar and keeps the oral cavity in good condition.
6. ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS?
There are no known side effects, but due to the rich iodine content in seaweed, this product may not be suitable for animals undergoing thyroid treatment. If you are unsure, consult your veterinarian before using ProDen PlaqueOff®.
7. HOW SHOULD PRODEN PLAQUEOFF® POWDER BE USED?
Sprinkle the powder once a day on wet or dry food.
8. CAN PREGNANT AND LACTATING CATS USE PRODEN PLAQUEOFF®?
No studies have been conducted specifically focusing on the effects of ProDen PlaqueOff® on pregnant or lactating cats. Therefore, we do not recommend giving the product to pregnant or lactating animals.
9. IS PRODEN PLAQUEOFF® SAFE FOR PETS WITH THYROID GLAND PROBLEMS?
In animals with thyroid problems, care must be taken regarding iodine intake in the feed. As seaweed, including Ascophyllum nodosum, naturally has a high content of iodine, we recommend animal breeders with thyroid disease to consult a veterinarian about the possible use of this product.
10. WHAT SHOULD I DO IF AN ANIMAL STILL HAS BAD BREATH?
Persistent bad breath may be a sign of a more serious health problem and should be consulted with a veterinarian.
