This food takes into account the very specific nutritional requirements of lories and their special adaptation of the digestive tract. NEKTON Lori offers, among other things, the direct availability of quickly digestible carbohydrates. If you use NEKTON Lori, it is not necessary to give the birds any additional feed, nor any other vitamins or minerals. NEKTON Lori is a completely unique and complete diet for lories.

Additional information: additional fruit feeding is possible so that the birds have a natural feeding activity , but not necessary. All the nutritional needs of lories are covered with NEKTON Lori feed. Do not use a mixer or beater during the preparation of the feed, some important components of the feed could be mechanically damaged. Always prepare only as much feed as the birds will consume in one day. Feeding bowls and all tools (e.g. plastic stirrer) should always be absolutely clean and free of bacteria. We therefore recommend disinfecting all bowls and other food preparation aids, e.g. with NEKTON Desi Care+. This is the only way to ensure that the important components of the feed do not break down.

Small and sensitive species of parrots, such as bearded lories (Oreopsittacus arfaki em>) or similar species should be fed NEKTON-Nektar Plus.

Ingredients: dextrose, soy protein isolate (non-GM) , bee pollen, sodium chloride, rice, fructose, potassium dihydrogen phosphate, calcium gluconate, calcium phosphate, potassium chloride, soy, sucrose, calcium glycerophosphate, magnesium carbonate, silicic acid, sorbic acid, calcium carbonate, safflower oil.

Nutritional additives/kg: 39,600 IU vitamin A, 1,998 IU vitamin D3, 40 mg vitamin E, 24 mg vitamin B1 (thiamine hydrochloride) , 26.7 mg vitamin B2 (riboflavin), 20 mg pantothenic acid (calcium-D pantothenate), 60 mg nicotinamide, 17.3 mg vitamin B6 (pyridoxine hydrochloride), 1.3 mg folic acid, 2,345 μg vitamin B12 , 200 mg vitamin C (acid L ascorbic), 8 mg vitamin K3 (menadione-sodium bisulfite), 10,230 μg biotin, 100 mg inositol, 100 mg choline chloride, 36.3 mg iron (ferrous sulfide) 9.2 mg copper ( copper sulfide), 5.3 g zinc (zinc sulfide) 7.6 mg manganese (manganous sulfide).

Technological additives: sorbic acid, silicic acid

Dosage: Stir 10 g NEKTON Lori (1 measuring spoon attached to the package) in 100 ml of lukewarm drinking water (approx. 30 °C).

Store in a dark and dry place at a temperature of 15–25°C. Do not store in the refrigerator!
