Plants can be planted directly into the Metro Twist 'n' Roll without inserting a seedling pot. It is possible to make a drainage hole in the bottom of the flowerpot with a screwdriver, through which excess rainwater drains away (if you have a flowerpot with a plant located outside). A seedling pot with soil can also be placed in the flower pot, but we do not recommend this due to the atypical shape of the bottom.
