COMPLETE FOOD FOR LAND TURTLE

Tortoise Mix by Lucky Reptile is the perfect natural food for all types of land turtles and also blackthorns. Unlike many competing products, Tortoise Mix is not composed of extruded granules with often dubious contents (such as fishmeal), but consists only of plants and herbs.

An important part of the Tortoise Mix feed are cold-pressed pellets, which contain meadow hay, herbs, dried carrots and dried marigold flowers. These are especially tasty for land turtles.

Tortoise Mix is rich in natural vitamins and contains a high percentage of raw fiber, which is so necessary for turtles.

Recommended method of feeding: Tortoise Mix should be offered wet to tortoises as the pellets are quite hard and will swell when water is added. Place the feed in a bowl and cover with the same amount of water. Allow the water to soak into the food for about 5 minutes, mix and offer to the turtles. It is also possible to spray Tortoise Mix with water. Dispose of uneaten leftovers. Along with the feed, turtles should be offered enough calcium (e.g. in the form of cuttlefish bones) and minerals.
