Gone are the days of ceramic covers and the days when terrarists used inverted pots. Although these protected the light source to a certain extent, they had no effect on the light output.

Especially for compact bulbs such as LR Compact UV Sun or LR Daylight Sun Compact reflector is necessary because otherwise the light and UVB radiation are scattered in all directions. However, when using reflectors from Lucky Reptile, we increase the production of light in the right direction by up to 200%!

Thermo Socket plus Reflector is supplied as an assembled set. In the package we find a ceramic E27 socket embedded in a high-quality metal reflector (not aluminum!), black on the outside and coated on the inside with a special varnish that perfectly reflects the light rays in the chosen direction. Cable for connection to electrical wiring and a protective wire cover is a matter of course.

Thermo Socket Clamp can be purchased with this set, which are clips for attaching the reflector practically anywhere. The Thermo Socket Clamp attaches directly to the socket by simply tightening the screw. Thermo Socket Cap, another possible component for the set, is a socket protector that insulates it at the same time – a seemingly unnecessary detail, but very effective in practice.

Three reflector sizes are available: smaller for all light bulbs and discharge lamps up to 75W (Halogen Sun, Basking Sun , etc.) and also for Compact UV Sun and Daylight Sun Compact bulbs. A larger reflector is then chosen if we need to connect discharge lamps and bulbs with a wattage greater than 75W. The mini size is then intended for spot lamps Halogen Sun Mini, Amphib Sun or e.g. Moon Lamp.
