Special substrate mixture for tropical terrariums, also contains sand. The high quality of the individual components and their carefully considered ratio guarantee great structural stability and an excellent ability to retain moisture.

Even a completely dry Jungle Bedding substrate absorbs water quickly after adding water and becomes optimally moist again. The pH of the substrate (5.5–6.5) is the same as humus soil in tropical rainforests. The substrate does not contain any chemicals or fertilizers.

We recommend using Lucky Reptile Hydro Drain and Hydro Fleece as a base material under the Jungle Bedding, this will prevent the substrate from becoming muddy if there is a lot of water in the terrarium (a common problem in tropical terrariums).
