Arcadia heating point halogens are needed wherever we cannot use UVB lamps, i.e. in terrariums where we use fluorescent or compact bulbs. These will provide the necessary UVB radiation, but not the heat that reptiles need. Therefore, it is necessary to install an additional heat source, ideally a spot halogen.
The English company Arcadia has been known for decades for its high-quality UVB bulbs, fluorescent lamps and discharge lamps, and is now launching also spot halogens, which offer ideal lighting conditions for most reptiles in terrariums.
