Aptus® Nutrisal™ plv. 10x25g
Code: PD-A-37505Product detailed description
Properties:
Nutrisal is a preparation designed to restore the normal state of hydration and maintain the balance of liquids and salts in animals. Mixing the powder with water creates an isotonic solution. Glucose increases the absorption of sodium and water.
Instructions for use:
Nutrisal powder is used to restore the normal state of hydration and electrolyte deficiency in dogs and cats, e.g. in combination with intestinal diseases. If a dog or cat suffers from diarrhoea, it loses a lot of fluids and the animal can become dehydrated. In this case, the animal also needs to receive electrolytes in the drinking water, which are contained in the optimum amount of Nutrisal. In connection with diarrheal diseases, we also recommend giving dogs and cats Aptus Attapectin tablets, which contain the products of intestinal fermentation. In addition, fluids can be replaced by giving Nutrisal electrolyte solution after heavy exercise or during car travel in hot weather.
Dosage:
Mix one sachet of Nutrisal with one liter of drinking water or add to feeding. Keep the Nutrisal electrolyte solution within reach of the animal so that the animal can drink whenever it wants. If the animal is not in good condition and does not take liquids on its own, it is necessary to give them for several days. The average fluid requirement for animals is approx. 0.5-1 dcl per kilogram per day. Usually, at least this amount of Nutrisal solution is administered. Nutrisal solution is administered frequently and in small amounts. Cats normally drink less than dogs.
