Aptus® Attapectin™ 30tbl (Digestion)
Code: PD-A-23263Product detailed description
Properties
- Rapid relief of diarrhea
- To support the normal balance of intestinal content density for dogs and cats
- Adsorbs extra fluid during acute and temporary loose stools
The active ingredients of Attapectin are attapulgite and pectin, which protect the walls of the digestive system, bind bacterial toxins and intestinal products fermentation and transport them through the digestive tract. With long-term use, attapulgite and pectin can also bind useful substances, e.g. concomitantly administered drugs, vitamins and iron. Therefore, it is not recommended to administer Attapectin earlier than three hours after the medication.
Instructions for use
Attapectin is used for temporary digestive problems in dogs and cats . At the same time, the animal must have a sufficient amount of fluids available (minimum 0.5-1 dcl/kg/day), water or preferably an electrolyte drink (e.g. Nutrisal®). The need for fluids increases if the animal is vomiting or suffering from severe diarrhea. Give Attapectin tablets directly into the mouth or mix them into feed.
