ALAVIS™Triple Blend for dogs and cats contains a combination of chondroprotective substances (glucosamine sulfate and chondroitin sulfate), substances MSM and branded COLLYSS™ and CARTIDYSS™ collagens. It is also suitable for the regeneration of the musculoskeletal system, especially for preventive administration in puppies of larger breeds and sports and working dogs.

Glucosamine sulfate and chondroitin sulfate form a natural part of joint cartilage and synovial fluid. Chondroitin sulfate binds water in the tissue and thus ensures the correct function of the cartilage, its strength, flexibility and resistance. The effect includes the regeneration of joint cartilage and tissues, thereby ensuring improved mobility.

Methylsulfonylmethane - MSM is organically bound sulfur that is involved in the process of collagen formation, strengthens ligaments and tendons, and has a relaxing effect and regenerative for muscles, suppresses muscle spasms. MSM contributes to the reduction of joint, muscle and tendon pain and, thanks to its antioxidant and detoxifying effects, also to the breakdown of damaged tissue. MSM is suitable for pain relief in post-traumatic and post-operative conditions, where better wound healing has also been found. MSM also helps against swelling.

Hydrolyzed collagens COLLYSS™ and CARTIDYSS™

COLLYSS™ - type I collagen of the highest quality – occurs in heavily loaded structures such as tendons and fibrocartilage. It is resistant to tension and is therefore very important for the strength of the tendons and thus also for the strengthening of the musculoskeletal system. This collagen is also found in bones and skin. Collagen type I COLLYSS™ is a patented purified collagen hydrolyzate obtained from marine fish cartilage.

CARTIDYSS™ - type II collagen of the highest quality – maintains the shape of the cartilage and prevents its deformation. Type II collagen is part of hyaline and elastic cartilage and is resistant to compression. CARTIDYSS™ is a purified collagen hydrolyzate obtained from stingray cartilage.
