Active substances contained in ALAVIS™ Traumagel: Celadrin®, Menthol.

Celadrin ®is a patent-protected substance that systematically strengthens and moisturizes cell membranes and provides cells with youthful suppleness and elasticity. Its composition combines two substances with similar effects. One of them is a cetyl derivative. Cetyl compounds have been used by the pharmaceutical industry for many years as detoxifying, disinfecting and anti-inflammatory agents. The second component is a mixture of saturated and unsaturated fatty acids, especially myristic, myristoleic and palmitic acids. This balanced composition is useful not only by aiding the transport of poorly water-soluble cetyl compounds, but as the latest research shows, these components have their own protective and physiological effects. They inhibit 5-lipooxygenase, which is an enzyme supporting oxidative and inflammatory processes. It is inflammation that is the source of not only pain, but also free radicals, which worsen the condition of the disease. We can therefore summarize that the components of the patented substance Celadrin are natural antioxidants, they help against inflammation and specifically block the activity of an unwanted enzyme.

Menthol is a substance contained in peppermint, it has mild local anesthetic effect and helps tissue blood flow, which is important for inflammation and pain. The cooling sensation is due to its ability to chemically trigger temperature receptors, thereby providing relief in inflammatory diseases of the joints, muscles and ligaments in both acute and chronic conditions.

How to use: Apply ALAVIS™ Traumagel on the affected area as needed 1-3 times a day according to the clinical condition.
