Description
ALAVIS™ Shampoo Chlorhexidine is a shampoo for external care for the fur and skin of dogs, cats, ferrets and horses enriched with the ingredient chlorhexidine, which helps reduce the occurrence of unwanted microorganisms and Aloe vera, which has an anti-inflammatory effect, promotes faster healing of wounds and thus supports the effect of the shampoo. It is suitable for supporting the treatment of skin diseases.
ALAVIS™ Chlorhexidine Shampoo is recommended
- for the treatment of superficial and deep inflammations skin (of yeast or bacterial origin, e.g. hot spot, inflammation of skin folds),
- as maintenance care for skin and coat after healing of dermatological patients, patients with chronic inflammation of the skin or allergic skin disease, >
- to prevent the development of secondary skin infections in patients attacked by ectoparasites (with demodicosis, scabies, fleas, cheyletia, etc.),
- to clean physically or chemically irritated skin (e.g. around the anus during diarrhea , steamed skin folds, when contaminated with excrement or polluted water),
- to reduce itching (pruritus) of various etiologies.

Aloe vera has been used for thousands of years in folk medicine and its use has spread throughout the world. Aloe gel promotes healing and is applied externally especially to burns, minor injuries and abrasions. When it is applied, a moisturizing film is created on the surface of the wound, which has an anti-inflammatory effect, supports the growth of fibroblasts and the renewal of collagen, accelerates granulation, improves the supply of oxygen and nutrients to the tissue, and there is a faster restoration of the vascular supply. Aloe vera reduces the amount of dead tissue and stimulates cell regeneration.
Aloe vera contains carbohydrates, especially pectins, hemicellulose, glucomannans, acemannans and mannose derivatives. Amino acids, lipids, sterols, tannins, enzymes, vitamins, minerals and salicylic acid are also represented. The healing effect is attributed to the contained polysaccharides, especially acemannans.
How to use:
- Wet the coat with warm water and massage the shampoo into the coat until it forms a rich lather
- LEAVE THE SHAMPOO TO WORK FOR 5 MINUTES!
- Then rinse the foam carefully. The shampoo is non-irritating to the eyes and ears, however, avoid touching them
- In case of significant skin lesions problems, apply ALAVIS™ Chlorhexidine Shampoo daily, or as recommended by the veterinarian. After the condition has improved, extend the intervals according to the condition of the coat and skin. If there is no improvement or the condition worsens, consult a veterinarian
