ALAVIS™ Multivitamin for dogs and cats helps to reduce the signs of aging, for better vitality and prevention of cognitive disorders. L-carnitine is an essential amino acid that helps convert fat into usable energy in the body of dogs and cats and is essential for the proper functioning of the heart, brain and muscles.
Taurine is essential for cardiovascular function and the development and function of skeletal muscles, the retina and central nervous system. Cats lack the enzymatic machinery to produce taurine, so they must obtain it from their diet. A lack of taurine in cats can lead to retinal degeneration and eventually blindness.
Ginkgo biloba contains unique substances with interesting biological properties (flavonoids, terpene lactones, organic acids, phenolic substances, carotenoid dye, carbohydrates, etc.). Ginkgo biloba extract expands blood vessels and is used preventively against sudden strokes, myocardial infarction and against cell damage arising from degenerative diseases.
