ALAVIS™ MSM for horses
- Contains an ultra-pure form of MSM in combination with branded collagens COLLYSS™ and CARTIDYSS ™.
- It has proven analgesic (pain-relieving) and antiphlogistic (anti-inflammatory) effects. It reduces the production of inflammatory mediators, helps improve physical condition, strengthens ligaments and tendons, protects stressed joints and improves their function. Better wound healing has been found when using ALAVIS™ MSM, therefore it is suitable for use in post-traumatic and post-operative conditions
- Thanks to its antioxidant and detoxification effects is also involved in the breakdown of damaged joint tissue. It can also be used successfully in allergology to alleviate allergic symptoms. It also supports the renewal of fur and hoof horn. It can also be administered preventively when there is no inflammation in the body. If there is no inflammation in the body, MSM is used to regenerate and relax muscles and to strengthen collagen fibers, which are not only in ligaments and tendons, but also in the fibrous component of cartilage and bones, and this leads to strengthening of both cartilage and bone tissue. With the help of MSM, the entire musculoskeletal system is strengthened.

MSM – Methylsulfonylmethane is a substance containing organically bound sulphur, which works to strengthen ligaments and tendons, suppress inflammation and pain, and regenerate and relax muscles. It also exhibits strong antioxidant and other positive effects and is a unique source of sulfur compounds that have a positive effect on the body, especially in damaged joint cartilage. Among other things, sulfur is involved in the process of creating collagen and glucosamines – the basic building blocks of joint cartilage and connective tissues.
COLLYSS™ - type I collagen of the highest quality – is found in heavily loaded structures such as tendons and fibrocartilage. It is resistant to tension and is therefore very important for the strength of the tendons and thus also for the strengthening of the musculoskeletal system. This collagen is also found in bones and skin. Collagen type I Collyss® is a patented purified collagen hydrolyzate obtained from marine fish cartilage.
CARTIDYSS™ - type II collagen of the highest quality – maintains the shape of the cartilage and prevents its deformation. Type II collagen is part of hyaline and elastic cartilage and is resistant to compression. Cartidyss® is a purified collagen hydrolyzate obtained from stingray cartilage.

How to use: The powder can be administered with a piece of food, stir into the core or molasses or put directly into the mouth. ALAVIS™ MSM is a white crystalline powder with no sulfurous odor.
