ALAVIS™ MSM + Glucosamine sulfate is a proven combination of MSM and Glucosamine sulfate for the proper functioning of ligaments, tendons, joints and bones. It is recommended for puppies and young dogs for the correct development of the locomotor apparatus and also for dogs of all ages for diseases of the joints, bones and muscle attachments and for their prevention. The unique composition of this preparation shows a significant effect against pain and inflammation. The anti-inflammatory effect of MSM is significantly supported by borage oil, boswellia, turmeric and ginger. Administer ALAVIS™ MSM + Glucosamine sulfate especially in these joint diseases

Glucosamine sulfate
Glucosamine plays an important role in cartilage metabolism. It stimulates cartilage cells (chondrocytes) to synthesize proteoglycans (basic structural components of cartilage) and is the main substrate for their formation. Glucosamine is actively taken up by cartilage. Administering glucosamine slows down the development of degenerative cartilage changes that have already occurred.
MSM – Methylsulfonylmethane
MSM is a substance containing organically bound sulfur that strengthens ligaments and tendons, suppresses inflammation and pain and for muscle regeneration and relaxation. It also exhibits strong antioxidant and other positive effects and is a unique source of sulfur compounds that have a positive effect in the body, especially in damaged joint cartilage.
Borage oil is rich in unsaturated fatty acid gamma-linolenic acid, which shows a positive effect on the course of inflammatory joint disease and contributes especially to the improvement of the condition of inflammatory joint disease.
Hydrolyzed collagen is the main protein of joint elastic cartilage, where it ensures its strength, flexibility and resistance. The collagen contained in the preparation ALAVIS™ MSM + Glucosamine sulfate is hydrolyzed, which means that it is enzymatically split into smaller particles that are better absorbed in the digestive tract and are therefore much more usable for building and restoring damaged cartilage. The lack of collagen in the joint and cartilage leads to mobility disorders and gradual degenerative changes. Collagen ensures the strength and flexibility of connective tissues.
Vitamin C is needed for the metabolism of amino acids, especially the amino acids hydroxylysine and hydroxyproline, which are very important for the synthesis of collagen. Vitamin C also plays an important role in the development of bones and cartilage. Lack of vitamin C results in less strength of collagen fibers not only in cartilage, but also in ligaments and tendons. Vitamin C further supports the absorption of iron and supports the formation of white blood cells, which play an important role in immunity and protect the body's cells with their antioxidant effect. which help to eliminate inflammation and associated swelling.
