Description
ALAVIS™ Joint Nutrition contains the substances Glucosamine sulfate and chondroitin sulfate, which are substances that belongs to the group of so-called glycosaminoglycans (GAG). These substances form a natural part of joint cartilage and joint synovial fluid. Their decrease is manifested in the deterioration of joint function and in the acceleration of the development of arthritic changes. From the preparation ALAVIS™ Joint Nutrition, these substances are easily absorbed and incorporated into the damaged cartilage. Their sufficient supply ensures long-term proper cartilage function, its strength, flexibility and resistance. The mechanism of action of these substances is common and consists in chondroprotective action. The active substances are present in the necessary amount, and moreover in a concentrated form. ALAVIS™ Joint Nutrition long-term ensures the strength, flexibility and resistance of joint cartilage.
ALAVIS™ Joint Nutrition is recommended for
- protection and regeneration of joint cartilage,
- very intensive nutrition of joints,
- preventive treatment of joints in young and healthy individuals,
- relief joint pain,
- improving mobility, especially in older dogs,
- slowing down or stopping further damage to joint cartilage,
- extending the animal's active life.

Glucosamine sulfate
Glucosamine plays an important role in cartilage metabolism. It stimulates cartilage cells (chondrocytes) to synthesize proteoglycans (basic structural components of cartilage) and is the main substrate for their formation. Glucosamine is actively taken up by cartilage. Administering glucosamine slows down the development of degenerative cartilage changes that have already occurred.
Chondroitin sulfate
Chondroitin sulfate is an important part of articular cartilage. It binds a large amount of water, which hydrates the cartilage, promotes the formation of proteoglycans and reduces collagenolytic activity. Administration of chondroitin slows down the destructive changes in cartilage, relieves joint pain, improves mobility and moderates the course of joint inflammation.

Method of use: Tablets are administered daily according to the recommended dosage directly into the mouth or with a piece of food, or crushed into feed. Animals usually accept the product without any problems.
Duration of use: Administer the product optimally for three months, then take a 1-3 month break and use the product again.
< strong>Warning: The preparation can be administered with feed containing chondroprotective substances. This will increase the positive effect. In case of joint problems, it is advisable to administer ALAVIS™ Joint Nutrition together with the preparation ALAVIS™ Single Maxík. ONLY FOR ANIMALS!
