ALAVIS™ Duoflex is intended for long-term administration in horses with movement problems.
ALAVIS™ Duoflex is administered for a wide range of movement problems, removes inflammation and soreness and acts on the regeneration of joint cartilage . It is especially used in arthritis – an inflammatory process occurring in the joints due to the breakdown of cartilage, it systematically strengthens and moisturizes the cell membranes and ensures the cells youthful suppleness and elasticity. It improves the quality of the synovial fluid that protects the joints and thus maintains their flexibility and mobility – it acts as a joint lubricant.

Celadrin™
Celadrin™ is a patent-protected substance that contains a cetyl derivative and a mixture of saturated and unsaturated fatty acids, especially myristic, myristoleic and palmitic acids. Celadrin™ combines two substances with anti-inflammatory effects that inhibit 5-lipoxygenase, an enzyme promoting oxidative and inflammatory processes. It is inflammation that is the source of not only pain, but also free radicals, which worsen the condition of the disease. Celadrin helps to increase the use and absorption of the chondroprotective substance glucosamine sulfate, which results in better and more effective nutrition of joint cartilage.
Glucosamine sulfate
Glucosamine sulfate is a natural component of joint cartilage and synovial fluid. It ensures the proper functioning of the cartilage, its strength, flexibility and resistance. The mechanism of action consists in chondroprotective (cartilage protecting) action. The effect includes alleviating joint problems, improving mobility and slowing down or stopping further joint damage.

- Glucosamine sulfate – 542 g
Excipients: maltodextrin
Dosage:
For horses weighing 500 kg, 3 scoops per day.
Method of use: The powder is given daily according to the recommended dosage in concentrate feed or molasses. ALAVIS™ Duoflex can be followed up with ALAVIS™ Celadrin for horses.
Duration of use: There is no time limit. No serious side effects were noted with long-term use.
