Colostrum contains compared to mature milk, a particularly high amount of bioactive substances that have effects on a living organism, tissue or cell, to ensure newborns the best possible start in life and strengthen their immune system. It contains antibodies that help protect against disease and infection. It also contains immune and growth factors and other bioactive substances that contribute to starting the newborn's immune system and intestinal function to populate a healthy intestinal microbiome in the first days of life. The bioactive substances contained in colostrum are essential for the health, growth and vitality of the newborn. It is filled with white blood cells that protect them from infection.

Skimmed Colostrum contains at least 30 % IgG. Immunoglobulin G (IgG) is the most important class of antibodies. Makes up ¾ of all antibodies in the serum. IgG has 4 subclasses (IgG1–4) that differ from each other in their opsonizing properties, binding to complement, and the time they are active. IgG serves several functions. Opsonization: FcR receptors for Fc-fragments of IgG are found on neutrophils and macrophages, which enables phagocytosis and elimination of pathogens. Activation of complement in the classical way: After binding of IgG to antigen, complement activation occurs, which is important for defense against infections. Secondary immune response: After repeated exposure to an antigen, IgG engages in a rapid and strong immune response. Neutralization of toxins: When IgG binds to a toxin, it is blocked and neutralized by creating an immune complex.

Beta-glucans in the product are bioactive, patented by the Yestimun brand, containing min . 80% natural polysaccharides beta-glucans from the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae.
Beta-glucans are complex high molecular weight polysaccharides found in the cell walls of many yeasts, bacteria, fungi, algae and cereals. Yeast beta-glucans are natural substances that influence the body's immune functions - they are so-called immunomodulators. This is also related to their anti-tumor activity, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effect, support for wound healing or increased resistance to infections.

Vitamin C is a very important antioxidant, which means that it protects cells from oxidative stress. It helps the function of the immune system and supports energy metabolism.

Selenium plays an important role in immunity and protects the body's cells with its antioxidant effect, thereby reducing the risk of cancer. It has a positive effect on the immune and cardiovascular system and reduces the risk of myocardial infarction and vascular diseases.

Zinc is important for a number of enzymes that are needed for cell metabolism and is involved in regulating the speed of cellular division, cell activity and cell maturation.

Dosage:

Method of use: Capsules are administered daily according to the recommended dosage into the mouth of the animal, preferably on an empty stomach at least 20 minutes before by giving feed, or with a small piece of food, the capsule can also be opened and the contents poured directly into the animal's mouth.
